Just 48 hours after the last extension, and despite the drop in the number of vaccines received, Andalusia is pushing back the age from which you can request an appointment to receive the first dose of the Covid vaccine for people born in 1996, c i.e. those who will be 25 or older in 2021.
Andalusians up to 25 years old who have not yet received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine, can request an appointment from Thursday July 15 directly on the ClicSalud+ website, via the mobile application and the telephone number. phone from Salud Responde (955 54 50 60) and also in their health center, preferably by phone.
Immunization against the coronavirus is carried out, as for people aged 30-39, with doses of Pfizer and Moderna preparations.
Since Tuesday, July 13, Andalusia has been open to the vaccination of people under 30, which until now only concerned people born until 1992. With this new extension, people born in 1993, 94, 95 and 1996 are added to the range of people who can request an appointment to be vaccinated.
The Regional Ministry of Health and Family recalls that the number of appointments available depends on the volume of doses received by Andalusia. The regional Minister of Health and Family, Jesús Aguirre, advanced that the intention is to complete the decade of the population aged 20 before the end of July.
Winning back the over 40s
The regional government of Andalusia is intensifying the vaccination of people over 40 who have not yet received at least one dose of the Covid vaccine. To this end, it organizes mass vaccination days in the eight provinces without an appointment and has also set up telephone numbers exclusively for this age group in each province of Andalusia.
