TheAtlas American School of Málaga will be the first school with an American curriculum on the Costa del Sol, offering all levels of education from kindergarten to baccalaureate, and covering the age range from 3 to 18.

To achieve this, the center will be staffed by a team of prestigious American professors with long-standing international experience, providing teaching focused on the development of the humanities through sport, the arts, theater and music.
Located in the Selwo district, a privileged enclave of Estepona, Atlas American School meets the demand for international schools on the Costa del Sol, facilitating access to university, both in Spain and abroad.
Students at Atlas American School will earn an American high school diploma, which can be validated by the Spanish baccalaureate, as it also offers specific preparation for the official Spanish curriculum (language and social studies).
In addition, starting in the 22-23 school year, the Atlas American School in Malaga will apply for authorization to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma program.
It will also distinguish itself by offering innovative programs, such as an intensive French program, an entrepreneurship program for students aged 14-17 and high-performance sports programs in golf, tennis and paddle.
All of this will be integrated into the school’s timetable to guarantee educational excellence for its students.
Atlas-ASM will also offer advice and support in choosing a university and the admissions process, as well as an annual SAT preparation course for students planning to study at a university in the USA.
In terms of facilities, the educational complex will occupy an area of 22,498 square meters and will house two separate buildings, one for the center itself, and the other as a student residence with a boarding program starting in September 2023.
It will also feature a gymnasium, two basketball courts and a soccer pitch.
All this in a highly international environment and with the confidence of Mathema Educación, a group founded in 2012 that already manages two other schools: Aquinas American School with three campuses in Madrid and a student residence, and The British School of Navarra, in Pamplona.
