Estepona Town Hall has activated a new campaign program to support local businesses and encourage shopping during the Christmas period. Thus, the Consistory will mobilize approximately 100,000 euros through this municipal action, from which the inhabitants of the municipality will benefit thanks to free vouchers to be exchanged in the establishments of the municipality which participate in the campaign.
The winners of these vouchers must, in order to exchange them in the establishment of their choice, make a purchase or an additional service of at least 20 euros, ie a minimum purchase of 45 euros. Those who obtain one of these vouchers through this campaign, which has the collaboration of the Estepona Business Association, will be able to use it from December 9 to January 6.
As for the companies interested in participating, the councilor pointed out that the 212 establishments that participated in the two previous editions of “Buy in Estepona” do not need to register again because they will continue to be on the list of this new campaign.
Establishments wishing to register for the first time, unsubscribe or modify the information that will be reflected in the final list, can do so from tomorrow, November 30, until December 3, on the municipal website https: //compraen.estepona.es/. For more information, interested parties can contact the Municipal Trade Delegation by telephone at 952802007 or by email at bonos25@estepona.es.
Mr. Cintrano recalled “the success and valuable economic impact” on the local business fabric of previous editions of this pioneering campaign by the Estepona Town Hall, which is why the municipality once again supports this measure of aid and contribution to local businesses.
To help with economic recovery after the end of the state of alert by COVID, “the town hall has allocated economic resources which have mobilized more than 200,000 euros in the municipality”. In sum, the councilor highlighted the importance for citizens to shop at establishments in Estepona, as they will help boost the economy and maintain and create local jobs.
In addition to this initiative, campaigns will be carried out in the municipal media to promote local commerce, since this sector contributes significantly to the consolidation and creation of local jobs. The adviser pointed out that a specific platform has been created for this campaign in order to verify the validity of the vouchers and the functioning of the whole procedure.
From Tuesday, November 30 to December 3, companies interested in participating in this campaign can register on the municipality’s website, following the requirements and steps.
