Estepona Town Hall will distribute a total of 73,479 tickets so that those registered in the town can visit the Selwo Aventura Park facilities for free, thanks to an agreement between the Town Hall and Parques Reunidos, the company responsible for the site.
The mayor, José María García Urbano, explained that tickets can be collected at Estepona Town Hall, in the Puertosol building. Selwo Aventura, he added, “continues to be one of the tourist symbols of the city and a must for tourists, as it is one of the best parks in Andalusia, in continuous renovation and improvement of its facilities”.
“It has created an attractive leisure offer in the municipality, which contributes to improving our tourist destination,” added García Urbano, who received the tickets from Selwo Aventura park director Alberto Martín.
Selwo Aventura covers more than one million square meters and has more than 1,000 animals from different continents, living in semi-freedom. The director highlighted, as a novelty, the creation of the Selwo Lodge Zulú; the new hotel establishment which was put into service on June 22, coinciding with the reopening of the park.
It offers five independent apartments designed to offer maximum comfort and privacy to its occupants. Each apartment has two bedrooms, a living-dining room with television and integrated kitchen, a bathroom with shower, hot/cold air conditioning and a large private terrace with two spaces. different: a relaxation area with jacuzzi and an outdoor dining room. Each apartment has a capacity of six people and one of them is suitable for people with reduced mobility. Selwo Lodge Zulu is located in the Portico of Nature, overlooking the Great Lake of Africa, the lush vegetation of the portico and the Mediterranean.
The Watu and Masai villages have 13 and 10 cabins respectively, which reproduce the typical wooden and stone constructions of the legendary continent, while offering inside all the comforts of a modern hotel.
