The Town Hall of Estepona will organize next June 20 a new edition of “La Noche en Blanco”, with limited capacity to comply with the security measures put in place by the central government to combat the coronavirus pandemic, a fun event that will offer more than a dozen free cultural activities, as highlighted this Wednesday by the deputy mayor of the socio-cultural area, Begoña Ortíz.
Thus, the mayor indicated that the objective of the event is that the citizens “come that evening to the different enclaves of the city to attend concerts and shows, and that they can also make purchases in shops that will remain open until 02:00.
For her part, the city councilor responsible for culture, Macarena Diánez, indicated that Estepona will celebrate its third “Night of Shopping” that day, in which “all companies that wish to can participate without having to register “, so that fashion, footwear and accessories stores, among others, will be able to stay open until 2 a.m. and offer customers special promotions and discounts, always adopting security measures.
On the other hand, the inhabitants will be able to go that night to the municipal museums and spaces dedicated to the historical and cultural heritage of the city, such as the Archaeological Museum or the House of Las Tejerinas, which will remain open until 02:00.
Likewise, among the shows planned for this year, the monologue by the cadiqué actor Tony Rodríguez, in the Carmen Thyssen gardens of the Orquidario botanical park; the Flamenco show 40 years with Paco Javier Jimeno in San Lorenzo Avenue, or the screening of “La, La, Land, La ville des étoiles”, in the Felipe VI Auditorium, for which locals will download 400 tickets with a maximum of six per person using the QR code included in the program.
As for the concerts and shows, he indicated that they will have a limited capacity that allows to respect the safety distances, reason why “all the people who access each show will have to remain seated, according to the indications of the health authorities”, being able to enter the various enclaves from an hour before, specified. In addition, to ensure compliance with all measures, the various events will be supervised by local police, civil protection and municipal staff.
