The alderman indicated that it is “excellent news” for the city the celebration of this activity, which has a remarkable participation success and a great organizational quality, and which also involves the expansion of the sports and leisure offer during the summer season.
Likewise, Mr. García Urbano expressed the City Council’s interest in continuing to promote all those cultural, sports and leisure activities, such as this campus, which contribute to making Estepona an attractive destination for all visitors who choose the city as a vacation spot.
He also said that the City Council will continue to support the celebration of Campus Vicente del Bosque, as it is a healthy and interesting alternative for young people.
So that any child can live this experience, thanks to the collaboration agreement signed by the Consistory and the Vicente del Bosque Foundation, a reduction of 20 euros will be applied to the price of the first week (July 19 to 23) for children registered in Estepona and a reduced price of 100 euros for the renewal of the second week (July 26 to 30). The normal registration fee for the rest of the participants will be 150 euros per week.

A total of ten full scholarships worth 150 euros each will be awarded, with all services included for the scholarship holders – liability and sports accident insurance, Adidas equipment, daily snacks and hydration, training sessions, qualified coaches with a international experience and participation diplomas -.
For his part, Vicente del Bosque commented that this new edition of the Campus revalidates the success of a model that combines sport and positive values such as friendship, camaraderie, sportsmanship, integration and effort. Del Bosque considers that these values “are present in the best sporting activity and are fundamental in the development and training of young people”.
In addition to a sports and leisure proposal for the summer, the Campus aims to instil in children aged 6 to 16 a commitment to a healthy lifestyle based on coexistence that combines mental development, sports practice and good food.
The Campus will take place at the “Francisco Muñoz Pérez” municipal stadium for two weeks, from July 19 to 23 and from July 26 to 30. Classes will be held in the morning shift from Monday to Friday, with a previous day of master class taking place yesterday, Sunday 30 May.
