Description
The Atalaya Old Course has been one of the most popular courses on the Costa del Sol since it opened in 1968. Located between Marbella and Estepona, its course is suitable for all levels of play. It is suitable for both beginners and professionals in this difficult sport, as its tees are very flexible. In addition, its driving range, one of the largest in Spain, offers golf lessons in several languages. The course offers generous fairways, on very pleasant terrain, without significant slopes. The greens of the Atalaya Old Course are quite fast and most of them are located in height.
Opened in 1992, Atalaya New Course completes the golf offer of the sports-residence complex Atalaya. This 18-hole course is set back from the club’s other course, more towards the mountains. The fantastic panoramic views that can be seen from the course, which easily adapts to the average golfer, are outstanding. Despite its young age, the new Atalaya course has become one of the most popular courses on the Costa del Sol. Much of the blame for this lies with the Atalaya Park Hotel, which offers special green fees to its guests and even offers lessons on the hotel’s golf course.
