The city of Estepona will host next Saturday, September 17, the “IV Concentración de Vespas y Lambrettas” to be organized by the Vespasianus sports club, an initiative that will bring together more than a hundred classic and modern scooters in the city, as announced on Wednesday by the Councillor for Youth and Sports, José Antonio Bandera.
The councillor expressed his satisfaction that the event has succeeded in consolidating and attracting new enthusiasts, a day that will start at 09:00 with the handing over of accreditations and welcome packs and at around 10:30, the departure of the caravan is scheduled from Plaza Antonia Guerrero.
The procession will make its way through the city’s most emblematic landmarks, taking in the streets of Zaragoza, Nuestra Señora de los Remedios, Valencia, Avenida Andalucía, the traffic circle in front of the San José school, Avenida Andalucía, Calvario, Guadalquivir, Sil, Tajo, San Juan, Cristo Rey, San Lorenzo, Pilar de Farinós, Casares and María Espinosa.
The caravan will continue along Sevilla, Pozo Pila, San Juan, Cristo Rey, San Lorenzo, África, José Tomás traffic circle, Camino Padre Cura, Carlos Cano, Puerta del Mar, Puerto Deportivo traffic circle, Avenida del Carmen, José Luís Díez, San Roque, Alcalá Galiano, Padre Cura, José Tomás traffic circle, Avenida Juan Carlos I, Sierra Cazorla, Avenida San Lorenzo, Avenida Andalucía, Mar y Sierra traffic circle, Terraza, Zaragoza, Nuestra Señora de los Remedios, Valencia, Javier Jimeno traffic circle, Avenida Andalucía, San Fernando and Avenida José Martín Méndez to Casares, where the route ends.
The representative of the Vespasianus sports club, Juan Aragón, said that the event would feature some very special and curious motorcycle models, such as sidecars and vintage bikes from different parts of Andalusia and Catalonia.
