Estepona Town Hall informs that on September 10 the registration period will open for the 2024/2025 cultural courses and workshops, offering a wide variety of disciplines for all ages. The period will remain open until September 25, and courses will start on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, and run until the end of June 2025. Registrations can be made in person at the Town Hall, from September 10 to 25, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., by appointment. Macarena Diánez, Councillor in charge of Culture, Festivals and Popular Traditions, underlined the support offered by the Town Hall to the most vulnerable groups enrolled in Estepona, with a 50% reduction in the cost of courses. Students enrolled at the Estepona Adult Education Center, Solfeggio students enrolled at Piano, young correspondents accredited by the Municipal Youth Delegation, and students forming part of a large family unit will also benefit from this 50% reduction. Similarly, a 100% discount will be granted to students of the Municipal Orchestra workshop who do their internship with the orchestra, and a 25% discount will be granted to those enrolled in more than one Municipal Delegation for Culture course. All scheduled courses and workshops must be paid for in advance, after registration. Bonuses are not cumulative. Students who applied for premiums last year will not have to apply for them this term. Ballroom dance (Latin rhythms, Sevillanas and nuptial choreography), with Mariví Rodríguez; classical flamenco dance, with Eva Alarcón; elementary and intermediate preparatory level of the Andalusian flamenco school, with Lourdes Barrientos; and flamenco dance, castanets and Latin rhythms, with Maribel García. Drawing and painting, with Rocío Garín; fabric painting, tiffany and polychromy, with Lina María Barrientos; and bobbin lace with Rosario Amate and Isabel Mena (registration for the latter course with Isabel Mena will be formalized at the 24 heures de sport Foundation).
