Whether you’re looking for a summer rental, or a medium-term rental (two months to 10 months), the Andalusia region regulates tourist and short-term rentals, with two compulsory licenses.
The Tourist License Number (in the form of a VFT/MA/___ number) issued in PDF format is required to rent your apartment during the summer season.
Since July 1, 2025, this obligation has been supplemented by the issuance of the NRA (Nuevo Registro de Alquiler), which applies to weekly rentals (on platforms such as Airbnb), BUT ALSO to medium-term rentals (NON LONG TERM), which until now were not governed by the previous legislation.

We ask them to pay the first three months’ rent in advance, as the month’s deposit is legally limited to one month for tourist rentals.
Once selected, we contact you to validate the terms of the contract, respecting your availability criteria.
Deposit and insurance
For summer rentals, any damage that may occur is covered by Airbnb’s insurance policy, known as Airbnb Cover. For monthly rentals, the month’s deposit is returned to the tenant once the apartment has been cleaned, allowing us to detect any breakages. Once the apartment is found to be in good condition, we return a large part of the deposit to the tenant, and set aside a portion to pay any outstanding water and electricity bills.
Rent payments
Rents are collected on the date the tenants move in, and on average are paid between 24 hours and three working days, the time it takes for us to receive the tenant’s funds (for transfers originating outside Europe, for example).
