Protected by the Sierra Bermeja , a colusse of reddish rocks and its fir forests, Estepona combines the benefits of the Andalusian climate and its 320 days of sunshine a year. Influenced by the Atlantic located 20 kilometers away, the region offers the best climate in Europe and temperate summers thanks to the sea air brought by the Atlantic.

The Sierra Bermeja is the meeting place for hikers who like to enjoy the view that dominates the Mediterranean. This superb spectacle extends over the Pillars of Hercules , the Rock of Gibraltar and Mount Djebel Mussa on the Moroccan shores. A marked path of 6km round trip, called “Paseo de los Pinsapos”, of low difficulty, delimits a walk through the pine forest only visible in this part of the world, it is bordered by streams.
